Mechtech's LS-1 blower kit is a perfect way to give your buggy additional HP and torque. Std. kit on 92 octane pump gas makes
505hp/525 ft-lbs. of torque. Jim's Alumicraft buggy uses the level 2 kit, with blower cam, stiffer springs and titanium retainers.
It burns 108 octane race fuel and produces 625hp and 630 ft-lbs. torque at 9 psi boost.
This is how the kit is delivered to you, with Eaton MP-112 blower mounted on a custom aluminum intake manifold that includes billet fuel rails and 550cc injectors. The kit also includes a wiring harness and a Delco MEFI computer. If you already have a Delco computer, MechTech can re-program it with the blower specs, which can help save you money on the price of the kit.
